Production Operative

Job Purpose

Dispenses and or operates automated manufacturing equipment and inspects product being manufactured with adherence to standard operating procedures and current good manufacturing practices.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates and ensures proper operation of manufacturing equipment which may include mixing and dispensing as required by area.

• Conducts regular in-process checks (pH checks, density meter operations) of quality attributes of materials and products and to ensure the equipment is operating correctly.

• Assists in recording accurate production and inspection data and is responsible for completing manufacturing paperwork in compliance with required SOPs and GMPs.

• Performs set up, changeovers and cleans the work area throughout the shift to ensure proper clearance of materials.

• Performs other related duties specific to the department as assigned.

• Perform daily SAP transactions

• Undertakes such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time to support the department and business activities.

• Acknowledge responsibility to ensure an effective Quality Management System in order to achieve Quality Objectives.
